Therm Cure™ 4021

Therm Cure 4021 is a general purpose, room temperature cure epoxy adhesive and sealant.  The material has excellent adhesion to a variety of plastics, metals, ceramics and glass.  It is used where strong, tough and flexible systems are required.  This product has high elongation and excellent toughness, abrasion resistance and tear resistance when cured.  Therm Cure 4021 is resistant to a wide range of chemicals.

Cure is moderate and achieved at room temperature with or without the application of heat.  (see Specification Sheet)

Therm Cure 4021 is a non-thixotropic, low viscosity, two-component system used as a thin bond line adhesive to polycarbonate, polystyrene, polybutylene, polymethylmethacrylate, Mylar, PVC and other plastics. It is also used with metals such as steel, aluminum, anodized aluminum, glass, etc.

Mix ratio is a simple 1:1 by volume or 100 gm: 80.0 gm for Part A and Part B respectively.  Application of this adhesive is performed by dispensing onto the substrate.

 MLT will supply the material to fit the Customer’s packaging requirements.
