These unique one component, optically clear, UV systems will cure within seconds after application of UV light.

The Lite Fast 1200 Series are one component UV systems that exhibit excellent adhesion to styrene, polybutadiene, K-resins, polyesters, polycarbonates, polyvinylchloride (PVC), ABS, phenolic, thermoplastics, thermoset polymers, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), nylon. These plastics adhere to other materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, alumina, aluminum oxide, anodized aluminum, copper and other metals with the application of one of the UV medical adhesives from this series.

Lite Fast A-1200 Series of UV medical adhesives offer the most extensive variety of properties of all UV cured chemistries. This UV series has a wide range of viscosities and hardness; MLT will also design special UV polymers to meet the Customer’s requirements.

Upon exposure to suitable UV light, acrylated polymers produce tough, durable thermoset polymers within seconds. Properties of these cured products range from hard and rigid to soft and flexible UV polymers. The UV or visible light source is enough to cure these UV polymers at a low or high intensity.

UV cure medical adhesives are used to assemble medical products such as injectors, endoscopes, drug delivery devices, pressure transducers, oxygenators, cardiotomy reservoirs, hearing aids, anesthesia masks and many more devices. Fluorescent UV polymers also are available upon request.
